The trick is quite easy, to read Deleted SMS from your Nokia S60 devices follow these simple step :

Step 1. Any system explorer or file explorer program eg. Fexplorer.

Step 2. Now open Fexplorer.

Step 3. Select C: or D: memory in which the SMS messages have been saved.

Step 4. For example you selected c:
Then open “system” folder.


Step 5. Then in “system” folder, Open “mail” folder.

Step 6. Then in this folder you will see different folders (e.g 0010001_s) and certain files (e.g 00100000).

These files are the actual messages.

Browse through every folder and open all files till you get the sms you are looking for.

Step 7. To open the files don’t choose options>file>open as it will show format not supported rather choose options>file>hex/text viewer.
By selecting the “Hex/ text viewer” you ll be able to open and read the deleted SMS message.
