Tricky Arena: Install Incompatible Addons in Firefox

After Updating your Favorite Firefox, you should find that your favorite Addon is incompatible with Updated version of Firefox.

Downgrading isn't a viable option, you may be at a loss for options.
However, often the Addon itself is actually compatible, but the version in the Addon needs updating.

In this post, i am going to tell you about a Trick with which you can Force Install Incompatible Addons in Firefox.

Follow These simple Steps :

Step 1: Open Firefox Browser.

Step 2: Now Click on the Orange Firefox Button , Then open About Firefox from Help.

Step 3: Note the Current Version of your Firefox ( mine Firefox version is 19.0 ).

Step 4: Now you have to open Firefox preferences editor. To open this write "about:config" in address bar and press enter.

Step 5: Now click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" to continue.

Step 6: Now right click in the Values window and a menu will appear.

Step 7: Now navigate to New --> Boolean.

Step 8: A new window named "Enter the preference name" will open. Now enter "extensions.checkCompatibility.firefox_version" followed by the version number and Click OK.
